Wednesday Evening Activities CANCELLED

All evening activities for New Life Church are cancelled for tonight, February 23rd, due to weather. Please check the blog for future updates.

New Life Church Snow Policy

When it snows, there is always the question as to whether to go to church. For your safety and to aid you in making a decision, we have developed the following policy. Weekdays: If West Linn High School is closed that day, the church’s activities will also be cancelled and the church office will be closed. Sundays: If snow or ice on the roads makes travel treacherous where you live, don’t attempt to come to services. Check the blog or our Facebook page for official announcements about weather cancellations.

Requests:
  • That Ricardo and Anna along with their daughters Andrea and Alessandra will soon be united in following Christ.
  • That our co-worker, Andrea Gerber, will have quick healing of a bad foot infection.
  • That the three Bible school students (Angelo, Marco, Andrea) helping at our church will find jobs or ways of obtaining support for their continuing studies. We are trying to determine if there is a way for some of them to serve in internships with us during their summer break.

Moldova Bible Seminary

In a month, Taylor and I will head to Chisinau, Moldova to teach for a week at Moldova Bible Seminary. We are team-teaching a class on Worship. We will stay in Europe and visit the Simmons the next week. The dates of the trip are March 11-March 27.

We were introduced to this ministry a few years ago by Rich and Cheri Strahm. Rich is teaching at this seminary this week. You can read about some of New Life Church's earlier interactions in Moldova here.

Please join us in prayer that:

  • Churches throughout Moldova and that entire region would treasure God more passionately because of these students.
  • Their worship would fuel mission.
  • Taylor and I would effectively connect the glory of God and the worship of the local church.
  • This trip would enhance our ministry and vision through New Life Church.
  • God would take care of us and our family while we're away.
  • We would refresh the hearts (Philemon 7) of the Simmons and Gandolfos.

Wilsonville Prayer Walk Tomorrow

New Life Church has been praying about planting a gospel preaching, Christ exalting church in Wilsonville, Oregon for the last couple of years. We are hoping by God’s grace to launch this new church location in the fall of this year. This is not an endeavor that we enter into lightly. We know that “unless the Lord builds the house, those who labor, labor in vain”.

That is why we are inviting you, and any other mission-hearted friends you might invite, to join us for a prayer walk this Saturday, February 5th from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. We will meet a the building where we are hoping to plant the church:

NEW LIFE WILSONVILLE- 27960 SOUTHWEST CANYON CREEK ROAD WILSONVILLE, OR 97070

We will open with a brief time of worship, encouragement, and instructions. Then we will head out into the neighborhoods around the church with prayer guides and maps. There will be an option for staying at the church to pray for those who are not as mobile as others.

Will you labor with us in prayer for an hour this Saturday?
