Raising funds for the relief effort in Haiti were led by our Treasureland children and resulted in a donation of $1,832.68 to Forward Edge International. Joe Anfuso from Forward Edge sent this heartfelt message:

AWANA kids...you are all so awesome! Thank you for teaming up with us in Treasure Land and getting out there in your communities and collecting those sticky, dirty cans and bottles for Haiti! God bless you all!!
My prayer for all these children is that this deed of compassion for people so far away and people that they do not know will touch their lives in a way that they won't forget...I pray that through this relief effort these children will take to heart Jesus's command to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
