Prayer Focus for the week of Dec. 26th

New Life Church has a prayer focus each week. Our prayer focus is broken down into three categories of ministry: 1. We pray for another local church that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. 2. We pray for a Global Outreach Partner who is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. 3. We pray for a ministry of New Life Church that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ locally.

Area Church: Emmanuel Community Church – Clackamas, OR, Pastor Rob Martini

Global Outreach Partner: Paul and Beryl Metko – Cadence International

• Please pray for clear direction for the Metkos as they transition from their current position to something that is not entirely known. Pray especially for their meeting on Jan. 11th which is for this purpose.
• Please pray also for Barb Evans, whose cancer has spread.

Swap & Play Work Day Saturday Dec. 18th

In starting a campus of New Life Church in Wilsonville we want to be a church that is a blessing to the community. Toward that end, Wilsonville Swap & Play is a kid-friendly ministry that provides a “home away from home,” where families can find a supportive community and resources to provide for the physical needs of their children. The space will be opened up daily to local families as a place to let their children play indoors and out of the house. One of the rooms will be set up for families to swap lightly used clothes, toys, and baby gear for items that they need.

The Swap & Play ministry is beginning to take shape and this Saturday (Dec. 18th), from 9:00-Noon, we are going to finish the space preparations. Our primary objectives are to paint trim and clean up, however, if you would prefer to work outside there are bushes that need to be trimmed and sidewalks that need to be blown off too. Please come and work with us to make these rooms beautiful. Contact Pastor Travis for more information or just show up at 9:00 a.m. in Wilsonville ready to work!

Area Church: New Life Church Wilsonville

• Please pray for the Swap & Play work day this Saturday from 9-Noon. Pray that the space would be ready and the ministry to local families would be a blessing to the community.
• Pray that the gospel would be clearly proclaimed and that people trust Jesus as their savior.

Global Outreach Partner: Brian and Lavonne Buhler – South Asia

• Praise God for the Middle School Ministry and for their desire to help children, their encouragement and the gift from the auction.
• Pray for our new data entry division with the goal of creating 10,000 life transforming jobs by 2025.
• Pray for Brian’s LifeGroup that he can help develop new leaders to grow and multiply more LG’s.
• Pray for Funding to help replace LaVonne’s failed laptop and 2 more visa required exit trips for 2011.
• Pray for LaVonne for wisdom and energy as she is now homeschooling all 3 of our children.

NLC Ministry: Ignite – High School Ministry

• Pray that the youth would take to heart that they have a Heavenly Father that loves them.
• Pray that the youth will spend time daily receiving from God.
