Prayer Focus for the week of July 17th

New Life Church has a prayer focus each week. Our prayer focus is broken down into three categories of ministry: 1. We pray for another local church that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. 2. We pray for a Global Outreach Partner who is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. 3. We pray for a ministry of New Life Church that is proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ locally.

Area Church: Sandy Baptist Church – Sandy, OR, Pastor Fred Vogel

Global Partner: Brian and Lavonne Buhler – South Asia

  • Thankful for the continued encouragement by the Middle School’s involvement and the additional funds raised by the auction will help sponsor a computer lab at one of the Dalit schools.
  • Thankful for our successful home schooling venture and happy growing children.
  • Praise that our Data Entry division continues to grow and we are seeing lives change as these new workers can now afford transportation and brides! Several of our young men now have the standing in the community they needed to allow them to marry. Some of the graduates from the Dalit schools will be eligible to work in this division to help them earn funds for their college tuition and support their families.
  • Praise that we have the opportunity to see you all this winter as we have our next home assignment between November and January this year.
  • Pray for our local partners as they are dealing with stressful circumstances.
  • Pray for the victims of this week’s bombings in a nearby city and that they will find True Hope and Peace.
NLC Ministry: Coffee Creek Prison Ministry
  • Pray for six ladies being released in July and August, for provisions, strength for making the right choices, and healing as they are reunited with families.
  • Pray for the Thursday night service, that it always Glorifies God, and that they can continue to overcome the obstacles that come up.
  • Pray for Coffee Creek in general, that there will be a revival in the lives of inmates and officers.
  • Pray for more volunteers called by God to serve in the prison.
  • Pray for a Sunday afternoon Bible study with the men's orderlies.
