The Christian Emergency Network is another relief organization helping victims of Hurricane Katrina. This site includes ideas for praying, caring and sharing.
I will pass on other Christian organizations as I discover them. I do not have any connections to route money directly to a local church or other individuals.

Because of the devestation some people may have to relocate and find a home and a job elsewhere. Could we, possibly through connection with other churches, reach out to a family that needs to start over, have them come to Portland, and support them as they seek a job and a place to stay?
